Step 3 : Configure Your Instance
Now it’s time to configure your instances according to your specific requirements.
Config Guide will help you to choose best for your need.
2 GB: Suitable for small applications, basic websites, or development environments.
4 GB: Good for moderate traffic websites, small databases, and light applications.
8 GB: Ideal for medium traffic websites, larger databases, and more complex applications.
16 GB+: Best for high traffic websites, large databases, and resource-intensive applications.
1 Core: Suitable for simple tasks, small websites, or development environments.
2 Cores: Good for moderate traffic websites, small to medium databases, and light applications.
4 Cores: Ideal for medium traffic websites, larger databases, and more complex applications.
8 Cores+: Best for high traffic websites, large databases, and resource-intensive applications.
SSD (Solid State Drive): Offers faster data access and improved performance.
48 GB: Good for small applications, basic websites, or light data storage needs.
480 GB: Suitable for moderate data storage needs, medium traffic websites, or larger applications.
1 TB+: Ideal for high data storage needs, high traffic websites, and large-scale applications.
Server Node
It is crucial to select an appropriate server node location. The server node is the physical data center where your server will be deployed. Choosing the right location can have a significant impact on the performance, reliability, and speed of your server.
Instance Plan
1 Month Plan: Short-term projects, testing and development phases, or temporary needs.
3 Month Plan: Medium-term projects, seasonal workloads, or pilot programs.
5 Month Plan: Steady workloads, continuous projects, or business growth phases.
1 Year Plan: Long-term projects, established businesses, or critical applications.
5 Year Plan: Very long-term projects, large enterprises, or strategic planning.
Authorize Payment
Before finalizing the payment, review the order summary one last time to ensure everything is correct.
Click on the 'Pay Now' or equivalent button to authorize the payment and complete the transaction.
Step 4 : Setup Redundancy and RAID
By carefully selecting and setting up the appropriate RAID configuration, you can ensure that your server operates efficiently while safeguarding your data.
Joy Services offers both RAID 0 and RAID 10 configurations. Here's how you can choose the best option for your needs
RAID 0 (Striping)
Performance: RAID 0 offers improved performance by splitting data across multiple drives, allowing for faster read and write speeds.
Use Case: Ideal for applications requiring high-speed data access, such as gaming, video editing, or tasks involving large file transfers.
Data Protection: Note that RAID 0 does not provide redundancy. If one drive fails, all data is lost.
RAID 10 (Mirroring and Striping)
Performance and Redundancy: RAID 10 combines the benefits of RAID 0 and RAID 1 by striping data across multiple drives and mirroring it for redundancy.
Use Case: Suitable for critical applications where both performance and data protection are necessary, such as databases, high-traffic websites, and enterprise applications.
Data Protection: RAID 10 ensures that your data is safe even if one or more drives fail, offering a high level of fault tolerance.
Step 5 : Review and Launch
We ensure a smooth and secure process for checking prices and completing your payment
Review Plan Selection
Double-check that you have selected the right plan (e.g., 1 month, 3 months, 5 months, 1 year, or 5 years) according to your needs.
Check Price
The platform will display a breakdown of the costs associated with your chosen plan. This usually includes the base price, any applicable discounts, taxes, and additional fees (if any).
Authorize Payment
Before finalizing the payment, review the order summary one last time to ensure everything is correct.
Click on the 'Pay Now' or equivalent button to authorize the payment and complete the transaction.
After payment authorization, your order will be delivered instantly.
Instant Delivery
Our systems are designed to automatically provision your server instance immediately after payment confirmation. This ensures minimal wait time and swift access to your resources.
You will receive a notification via email or within the dashboard confirming the successful setup of your instance.
Step 6 : Access and Manage Your Instance
Now you can efficiently access and manage your newly created instance, ensuring it runs optimally and securely
From your dashboard, go to the 'Instances' page. This is where you can view all your existing instances, including the one you just created.
Manage Your Instance
Click on the instance you wish to manage. This will take you to the instance details page, where you can perform various management tasks such as starting, stopping, rebooting, or resizing your instance.
Here, you can also monitor performance metrics, set up backups, and configure security settings to ensure your instance runs smoothly and securely.
