The OS Install-OS feature allows you to easily change the operating system of your instance with just one click. This is particularly useful for quickly adapting your instance to new requirements or testing different operating systems without the hassle of manual installations.

How It Works
Understand the os configuration of your instance:
Select OS: Choose the desired operating system from the dropdown menu in the control panel.
Initiate Installation: Click the OS-install button to start the installation process.
Installation Progress: Monitor the installation progress through the control panel interface.
Completion: Once the installation is complete, your server will be running the new operating system.
Installation
The OS Install-OS feature allows you to easily change the operating system of your server with just one click:
Available OS
Ubuntu - 20.04/22.04/24.04.
Windows Server - 2019 / 2022 / 2024.
Install
From your dashboard, go to the 'Instances' page. This is where you can view all your existing instances.
Select OS: Choose the desired operating system from the dropdown menu in the control panel.
Installation Progress: Monitor the installation progress through the control panel interface.
Completion: Once the installation is complete, your server will be running the new operating system.
Credentials
Guidelines
Email Notification: After the OS installation is complete, an email containing your new access credentials will be sent to you. Make sure to check your inbox (and spam folder, just in case).
Control Panel: You can also change your credentials from the Joy Services control panel. Navigate to the 'Instances' section, select the instance for which you need to change the password, and find the 'Password Change' button.
Username Field: Provide the username for which you want to change the password. We offer default usernames: for Windows, it's [Administrator], and for Linux/CentOS, it's [joy].
